Hi guys!!!😀 So today, I’m going to talk about a topic I should have talked about long ago and I know that some of us won’t really see eye to eye on this topic and I’m sorry, but there’s actually nothing I can do about it.
When I first introduced myself to you, I told you I love Jesus💖 and I was going to talk a lot about him on this blog and while I’ve made many mentions about God, I haven’t actually dedicated a blog post to Him and I actually feel bad.
Contrary to what most of you may think, I’m not here to talk about religion, rather I’m here to talk about faith and what it should mean to you because honestly I don’t care much for religion. I don’t think it’s all about going to Church every Sunday and knowing how to pray using long and heavy words. I feel it’s more of a relationship between you and your Maker and this is the part where most people miss it.
My Simple, Yet Golden Rule…
Let me just keep today’s post simple by just telling you what Jesus is about. There are no expectations, no bizarre requirements to get a relationship with God. You don’t have to be the best or the richest or the brainiest or the fairest of them all. There is only one simple rule when it comes to seeking a relationship with Jesus and I call it the ‘NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED’ rule. Like, if you think that because you’re perfect, you have it all, you’re good, you haven’t ever offended nobody, you just mind your business and that’s why you feel like you have a right to a relationship with Jesus, then you’re in for a huge disappointment.
Jesus just wants you to come as you are, he doesn’t care if you’re broken hearted💔, if you are weary🙍, if you are depressed😖, if you have done a lot of bad things an committed a lot of atrocities in the past😏. That is not his business and I feel that is my favourite part about serving God. I don’t have to be another person, I just have to be me, mistakes and all and he will welcome you with open arms.
This is what a lot of people don’t understand and I feel that if you must start this journey of faith, you have to know this.
Now that you know you don’t have to be Mr. or Mrs. Perfect to come to Jesus, what then is your excuse?
Dear reader friends, Jesus loves you and he is waiting for you and the only requirement you’ll ever need to go to him, is to simply come, Come as you are…
Try visiting this YouTube link. It’s a song by Crowder titled ‘Come As You Are’ which pretty much sums up my blog post today and what Jesus is about.
Have a nice weekend and an even better week ahead. Much love from this end.💖💖
